I have just sent an e-mail to all the biologists, but I will send one to George , at the site and see if he has seen parents by box.

Yeah, a report from the ground would be nice. They seem to be watching something at times, making me think an adult is nearby. Well, who wouldn't want these three, right, they appear to be no trouble at all, pretty much self-sufficient.

Thanks Bev...the kids don't appear to be stressed out or starving...I do wish they would cry out..but maybe at this age, they're only gonna do that if they are really hungry AND see a parent..

I just finished watching a feed at Columbus...Scout stood on the ledge and called them..they didn't budge..not until she hopped down and "forced" them to eat did I hear anything out of them...I think these chicks are about the same age as Columbus...

The first thing Gord asked me ,was were they calling out, so I guess that is key.

I am just going to wash my face and get dressed.
I am wiped.
Second feeding at Edmonton since 6am

I am so sad about this. But will still hope.
Be right back

Yea...I'm disappointed too...I'm seeing no evidence of them making any sounds..I think it would be important to know what they are observing from the ground...do they see the parents? Does it look like the parents are interested in the box at all, etc....for all we know, a parent is sitting out of cam and chick view, trying to figure out what to do...

I am sure this is confusing for the chicks also. they are used to getting fed on demand at breeders.
Will post as soon as I hear anything.

You don't suppose they had a very early feed by a parent (before the cam went live) and that's why they appear content...nawwwwwwwwwwwwwww....but maybe?

Just got caught up on all the postings. We had another round of severe thunder storms go through last night with tornado sirens blasting, so I'm sorry I couldn't help watch. But I can help out more today. Can't wait to hear what those on site are seeing. Without sound it is hard to tell if these kids are making any noise. Sending positive vibes for a parent to get the hint on what they are "supposed" to do.

WOW, Susan...hope there were no tornadoes on the ground!!!

Thanks for helping watch...I've got the recorder going, but I'm gonna be up and down..I really must get some stuff done...

I haven't given up yet...these 3 are cuties...that's for sure!!! I would love to know what they are observing from the ground..there's got to be a wealth of information there as well...

Glad all is well at your end Susan.
Well ,at times it looks like they see something.
I should have been at ground level there. Could have slept in a motor home or something.

Have to iron slacks now. Slowly getting there.

Gord is depending on the people there to be observing the area. He , had other sites to go to yesterday and has one to deal with today also. But will be monitoring cam also, when he can.
He said he only saw one falcon when he was out there and last night he said they wre probably not far away from where chicks were???

So i have e-mailed the one there at Genesse and hopefully I hear before I leave to go out.

Not enough people. so many are out in the field right now.
I know one roosts on light on tower ,nest box is on.

I'm hoping they're getting hungry and will start making some noise...and then Mom won't be able to resist...
