Ya know..they were gonna do a feed this morning (there time)...I wonder if they are just holding off to force them into making some noise...OR...maybe they've seen some positive adult behavior around the box and they don't want to scare them off...

I am home just now.

they are going to hold off feeding until early afternoon. but they will feed them good. they want them to make some noise.

George said he does not see adults, but I am wondering how close they are watching. Peter and I always saw them when we wee out there

So I think the plan is to feed them good and then maybe leave them over one more night.
and if no interest ,then pull them

Gord is very surprised that there is no interest. He is hoping the light will go on today.

I will e-mail Gord about those suggestions of music of sounds.

Thanks for the update Bev...strange they aren't seeing the adults...but, they probably don't have the time just to sit and stare at the sky...

If ya think about it, why would the adults think these chicks belonged to them...their eggs were elsewhere...its possible Mom and TR-man have been using the box only as a hangout and don't see it as their territory any more.

Bev, how far were the eggs from this box?

..well, Gord's done this before, so I'm guessing he thought it was a good try...and we still have the rest of the day to go...these kids need to be more cranky!!!

Actually, I think the adults are holding off just to drive Bev crazy. They know that she is worried about the little ones.

I sure hope this experiment works, but if it doesn't I'm still glad they tried.

Too funny...is it working?

Well, the kids are a little friskier..and hungry...now if they'll just make some "mommy I'm hungry" noises...just to see...but they look so quiet!!! Better manners in Canada, I guess... 8-)

No...and I've been recording since the cam went live this morning....hmmmmmmmmmm...I'll have to keep my eye out for it...I don't think a parent would "drop and run"...but I suppose its possible they could have done something very early this morning...if that's true, they should have done another feed by now...

Could a drop-off have been so quick as to have happened between refreshes?
