Mr. Sentry there in the front is just too cute...I'm ready for them to bring food...and so are they, I'm sure...but I don't like how close to the edge the front one is...he needs to back up some...

I think the guy doing the feed is waiting a bit longer. But thye will a good feed when they get it.
I am a bit worried ,that they are flapping so much.

I e-mailed , George, the guy that will be doing the feeding, and told him they wre really flapping and one was close to front.

Hopefully he is watching , he is cam guy also.

fianally I am posting the picture SGB. the place where they took eggs from is circled and the dot is the nest

You can see nest box from there and they can see that spot from nest area.

Is it not as far as it looks , We were far away
Now I will get more of a close up and you can see it but this gives you an idea of location

Thanks, Bev--so the vents really aren't far away from the box.

no , not far at all. And when Peter and I saw one go under there , we thought , no way. they cannot see anything while under there, but they can see vent from both towers.

they can see nest box if they sit where we have seen them sit.So this is a very weird situation.

Aha! They have a screen to put over the front so the chicks can't fall/jump!

I was so worried and when I e-mailed George , I asked if they had a net to go over front. This is great.

they will be having cut up chicken for supper. as much as they can eat until really full.

I am so happy to see them go to eat.

George was probably laughing at me inside. But I was remembering the banding at Montreal and told him about that.

All boxes should have that.

That would be fun! But climbing up the stack to the nestbox wouldn't be!
