Do we get a report from these people ever letting us know how the juvies are? I sure would like to know. Looks like the parking lot is less than half full, maybe employees take Fridays off. Well, they won't be bonding any time soon if somebody is up there, but I don't hear alarm calls or anything.

Well I haven't heard anything from my emails and RRP hasn't even reported the banding report yet and as far the the power plant goes it takes awhile for them to post anything so its a waiting game here

About the Birdcam
Great River Energy's Elk River Energy Recovery Station is a perfect site for
a nesting box because it is located in a peregrine falcon migratory flyway.
The site, beside the Mississippi River, is also a draw because the birds prefer to
nest in high locations near water.
In recent history, power plants have had the best peregrine production
rates in the Midwest.
Great River Energy's Birdcam will return mid-March, just in time for a new pair
of peregrines to call our nest box home.
Birdcam news
2010 Great River Energy
Elk River Energy Recovery Station
Peregrine Falcon Wrap-up
2010 was a great uneventful year for the Elk River Energy Recovery Station’s
peregrine falcons. We mounted a new nest box this year that was constructed
by a local boy as a 4-H project. The box was installed more than 100 feet high.
We had four healthy eyasses hatch and fledge this year.
Local students from the Journey Home School Coop followed the peregrine falcon
family this year via the Birdcam; they also attended the banding
on June 7th, 2010 and helped choose names for the eyasses.
There were three female eyasses; Falco, Journey, Brooke,
and one male named Henry.
The young falcons may remain in the area improving their flying and hunting
skills until they migrate this fall.
Since 2007, thirteen peregrines have been fledged from the Elk River Energy
Recovery Station. We should see the adult falcons return again next year
sometime in the beginning of March at which time the Birdcam live video
will again be available.
Timeline
6-20-10
First eyeass to leave the nest box.
6-7-10
The eyasses were taken from the nest box and brought down for the banding.
The students from the Journey Home School Coop attended the banding and
helped choose names for the eyasses. There were three females; Falco, Journey,
and Brooke, one male; Henry.
5-15-10
The fourth eyass hatched. . The adults will be working hard to protect and feed
the four eyasses during the coming weeks.
5-14-10
Three of the eyasses hatched.
4-11-10
The fourth egg was laid.
4-9-10
The third egg was laid.
4-7-10
The second egg was laid.
4-5-10
The first egg was laid.
3-10-10
The female peregrine falcon returned to the nest box.
3-21-10
The male peregrine falcon returned to the nest box and the courting took place.
This is the fourth consecutive year that two peregrine falcons have made their
home in a nesting box located atop the plant near the banks of the Mississippi River.

Well, that's that huh? I tried to get the cam today, but never got past a black screen. I sure would have like to seen all the juvies one last time together, but it sounds like they all fledged ok, even though we would only see 2 at a time on the cam. Their names are sweet, 3 girls and a boy. I don't think that I even knew that for sure. I always liked looking at this cam in the winter, even though I didn't see any falcons, I could see the snow and sometimes other birds. But they would all be there a while longer, wish they would have waited. Maybe the budget.

Well it was a great, uneventful year. :loveshow:

And with all that has happened, I'm so glad these babies made it through.
