KF - I loved your slideshow of Saffy and her kittens! It's just too bad that two of them didn't make it, 'cause I know you're doing everything you can to help Saffy and the darling little ones.

Well they are all doing good as far as I can see I just gave each one a little milk
and now Saffy is in there cleaning them up she loves it when she sees me coming with
the clean bedding I change it about every 4 hours or so. I know the neighbors think I
crazy cuz I get out side and hang the sheets on the porch and hose them off then I have
a big bucket out there to wash and scrub them my daughter thinks I'm nuts but I tell
her its so if they get fleas (and I know they will because of being outside)they won't be
as hard to get rid of. She just isn't a animal person and she never will be must have got
it from her father he's a country boy that thinks that cats are for mousing and dogs are
for guarding the house and she thinks the same way :nosun:

I'll never change her mind
so I'm working on the grandkids the 3 older ones are hopeless but I have high hopes for
the 2 and 5 yr old

It is hard for me to comprehend people who don't love animals & I feel very sad for them. I have always loved cats & dogs & after I saw a picture of myself when I was about 2, I understand why. I was outside on a blanket surrounded by my grandmother's 5 cats! She lived across the alley from me so I saw her every day. My parents always had at least 1 cat & dog, too! Fortunately, I was able to pass on my love of animals to my son, & he in turn passed it on to his kids!

Glad everything seems to be going well for Saffy & the remainder of her kittens. Sounds like you are a great grandma, both to kittens & human kids! :flirty:

Mick, I do try and vote each day, but it is good to be periodically reminded since the contest runs for so many days. If I were you, I'd post it in the OVER THE FENCE > DAILY CHAT area periodically, too, to get more coverage.

I just finished the cleaning and feeding a few minutes ago I'm going to get
pics today they all seem to be doing fine but I'll still be happy when the eyes are
open and they are really crawling around

Good one susan!!! I'm so glad to hear that all is going well....I can just picture you outside, hosing down the bedding...you must get a picture of that!!!....so, more pics please...when you get the time!!!
