Thanks for the sweet and fun cat pictures kitten. It's good to see you still have your sense of humor after the events of the last few days; although a good sense of humor can get you through most things...

Good luck tomorrow at the vets and I think your plan to keep Saffy "housebound" is a good one. You have truly earned our nickname for you; MaMa kittenface.

Catching up on all my reading after holidays; DEF, The cat with the toilet paper. Buttons all over, sort of. We have moved the roll so that it high on the wall. If we by mistake leave any hanging down, ALL of it will be in the waterbowl, still all joined up (has a 2nd water bowl in bathroom, I spoil them) or if a towel is hanging too low, that may in the water bowl too
Kittenface, Your Saffy is going to gray your hair prematurely. If you find their hideyhole, they'll go find another one. I can loose a cat in a 2 bedroom apartment. You must have been going crazy. Saffy, you should be grounded, a beeper around her neck so you can beep & find her. When she gets fixed, she will get more docile. Harness train her so she can go on walks with you

Well its with a heavy heart and so many tears I have to say Saffy is gone
I had to have her put to sleep she kept getting the splints off and infection set in and
I just couldn't afford to have the leg removed and she was in a lot of pain but
up to the very end she was still trying to nurse the babies and she was bathing them
and showing what a trooper she was.

I know you are hurting, but please know I am hurting too. I don't have my own cat right now, so all BCAW members' cats are mine. What a huge loss. Saffy was such a wonderful mother, and I know you did everything in your power to help her. I'm grieving with you.

OMG, KF...I am just so, so sorry....it was her spirit and spunk that became her undoing...I am so sorry that you had to make such a decision...I personally know how hard that is to do...many, many hugs to you... :cryinggirl:

Thank you everyone,
Kittenface, Buddy and Cookie (the 2 older kittens) are taking care of the babies they keep looking for her but the kittens are doing fine. I'm doing better knowing she is with Froona and being loved on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
