I'm drawn to this nest because of Boomer, so I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know anything about SW. For instance, what does "SW" stand for?

S/*W was born in 1999 at Gulf Tower in Pittsburg. Her parents are Tasha2 and Boris. She nested at LTV Steel, Cleveland in 2001. In 2002 she laid eggs in Zenith's nest box at TT, she fought Zenith for the nest when Zenith returned from migration. SW took control of the nest site. The resident male was Buckeye *R/K.
Buckeye died of head injuries in Nov 2009.
In 2010 her new mate was Ranger. In June 2010, Ranger was badly injured by a probable building collision (He's doing well in rehab)

Buckeye *R/K of TT 1996-2009 (fledged Rhodes Tower- Bandit and Aurora)
Buckeye of Hilliard 1994-2007 is a different Buckeye. Both were majestic tiercels!

Thank you, Mick, for that information about SW and her mates. Boomer is so young and strong, and she is lucky to have found him. She obviously has an eye for the good ones.

Thanks for that info on SW, Mick...I think we pay tribute to both Buckeyes in our "Hall of Fame" forum...

Based on Buckeye and Ranger's injuries, buildings are not very kind to falcons in Cleveland...I am glad to read that Ranger is doing well in rehab...
