Since the prey was so big, I was wondering if it might be NG. Good for her, maybe there will be enough leftovers for Lil Dad. Thanks Reenie.

Yeah snow, George.

THOSE WINGS WILL PROBABLY END UP DOWN BELOW ON THE SIDEWALK WHEN SHE'S DONE, THERE WAS ALREADY A SET OUT THERE THIS MORNING ON THE SIDEWALK!

THE LIVE PIGEON IS STILL IN THE BLDG TOO. THE GUARD TOLD ME THEY USED TO HAVE ONE FOR A YEAR OR SO OVER AT THE CAPITAL INSIDE. MAYBE IT WILL BECOME OUR MASCOT, LOL. I COME IN EARLY ENOUGH, I THINK I'LL BRING IT SOME CORN TOMORROW IF IT'S STILL THERE :-)

Just saw somebody fly to the stick, must be NG because she is cleaning her beak. Great wings outstretched, but didn't get the picture. I seem to always go into a trance when they fly. :-?

Holy cow, the live cam!?? what a pleasant surprise. I take it there's no audio. I hope to see NG live for the first time.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

That is so great about the pigeon and feeding it! Reenie you do have a unique place to work!!! No one on the ledge at this time. Have a good rainy day.

Article in our paper yesterday about the crows this time of year.

Does the pigeon have water too? Can someone stand there and hold the door open until it can find it's way out? Birds get trapped on my screened porch and they nearly kill themselves banging against the screens trying to get out. The thing is, they come in through the pet door but can't find it again evidently. I just prop the door open and they go out after they are nearly unconscious from flying into everything.

Thanks to 'somebody' for the report.

FINALLY! I have been checking in since 0630 for my am falcon fix and nobody was there to satisify my craving. However now it seems Lil Dad has graced us all with his presence on the stick at 1225

WELL, I MISSED LIL DAD OR WHOEVER IT WAS, BUT WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THE PIGEON HAS FLOWN THE COOP/BLDG. WELL, NOT EXACTLY....... I SPENT MY LUNCH TRYING TO WAIT FOR IT TO COME DOWN SPRINKLING CORN ALL OVER. FINALLY FOUND IT ON THE FLOOR UP THERE AND GOT THEM TO BRING THE NET. THE GUY MISSED. RIGHT AFTER LUNCH WAS OVER, SHE CAME DOWN TO THE FLOOR AGAIN AND THEY GOT HER. I TOLD THEM HOW TO KEEP HER IN THE NET BECAUSE BEFORE SHE GOT OUT THE NET. SO, SHE MADE IT OUTSIDE AND FLEW ACROSS THE STREET TO THE SIDEWALK. FROM THERE, SHE FLEW OVER INTO THE BED OF A TRUCK THAT WAS PARKED OUTSIDE OUR BLDG. WHEN THE TRUCK TOOK OFF, SHE WAS STILL IN THERE, GOD KNOWS HOW FAR SHE WILL TRAVEL. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD THE GUY SHE WAS IN THERE. HOPEFULLY SHE WILL REST UP IN THERE AND BE ABLE TO FLY OFF SOMEWHERE AND HOPEFULLY NOT INTO THE STREET SOMEWHERE! AT LEAST SHE WILL FIND WATER IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK :-)

Glad to hear that the pigeon is free now. Hope they know what a gem they have working in the building--even helped them get the pigeon out! :sfyea:

Glad the pigeon is out of the building, but can't believe it just stayed in the truck after the truck took off. Maybe it saw the falcons and decided it would be safer in a moving truck than flying around too much. :-)

I THOUGHT MAYBE IT SAW A BUNCH OF WATER IN THERE AND DECIDED IT WAS A GOOD PLACE TO DRINK AND REST UP. I'M SURE IT WAS WEAK FROM NOT EATING OR DRINKING FOR TWO DAYS. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT THERE, IT WOULDN'T HAVE STAYED IN THAT TRUCK, THAT'S FOR SURE. DON'T KNOW THAT IT WAS GOOD FOR IT TO GO DOWN THE STREET IN MOVING TRAFFIC. OH WELL.....

I HAVEN'T SEEN A FALCON ALL DAY, BUT THEN AGAIN, IT'S BEEN RAINING ALL DAY. IT STOPPED NOW, HOPING TO SEE THEM SHOW UP SOON :-)
