Thanks, Greg, for all your wonderful reports to let us know that the Wilmington falcons are still around and holding down the fort!

I hadn't seen either one of them for days and days, but CJ just now made a quick visit to the nest. Unfortunately, it was such a quick visit that I didn't have time to snap a picture of him there.

Days are getting longer so maybe the falcons will gradually think that the box looks more important and you and the other vigilant people will have more opportunities soon. Mourning dove again today. Happy New Year, everyone!

I can see the foot of one of the falcons standing on the box ledge.
