:1val: I see the pip has progressed at 11:19! They really need a fish here soon, I'm afraid the dried up meat on that bone doesn't have the moisture/fluid that E15 needs right now after that long hatch and this heat ...

I think you are right, SWINWK. A nice big fresh fish!

:1val: Gigi, M15 brought in another bone with meat on it at 12:22. (There must be an animal carcass nearby) He pulled pieces of meat off it and passed it to Harriet who then fed it to E15. I had not thought of how they drool so much as they feed it to their young. Harriet was REALLY drooling as she fed it to E15, so it is getting fluid in spite of no fish as yet!!

Edit to add: At 13:41 feed, saw E16 push out on one of the flaps of the break in the shell!! :15heartbeat:

Thanks! I think there must be an overload at the site preventing me from getting into the cam.

Receiving this message on cam site: "This live stream recording is not available."

EDIT: I just read on one of Christian Sasse's posts that they are overloaded with over 8000 visitors.

:1val: Great view of pip progression at 15:12. We can now easily see the beak. Also, E15 is being fed again.

:15heartbeat: Egg still progressing. They have a chat going now and I saw this run across:

GinnyLWI (Admin): No fish likely because of a bad fish day Sophia, it is hot there and fish usually go deeper for cooler water

:1val: The view at 17:27 shows a nice crack going across the egg. Also, E16 is strong and receiving another of several feeds today in this view!

:1val: E16 is still working to get out of the shell. Can see a flap of the shell moving as it continues to work. Egg is partially obscured as there is a feed in progress and it is difficult to determine the progress through the night for now.

SWFL Eagles ~ A Father's Love! M15 Sees E15 For The First Time! Offers Tiny Bite Of Food 3.31.20

Our proud Papa M comes to the nest and gets to see his new baby for the first time! He offers some tiny tidbits from that large bone he brought in the other day to E15. It is love at first sight!! Now he will have to go out and stock the pantry because E16 will be hatching soon! Thank you for watching!

Harriet fed E15. Eaglet's head is a lot steadier this morning. E16 still hatching.
A family portrait.

:15heartbeat: At 17:10-17:11, E16's whole wing is hanging out of the opening. Hatching for the 2nd clutch has been long and uneasy at times ... :15heartbeat:
