Carla’s kids have really matured over the past 7 days. They look sleek and brown, except for a little down on top of their heads. Kate St, John has declared this week to be Pitt Peregrine Fledge Week. Looks like a busy week for Carla and Ecco, too.

Green boy has been sitting on the lip of the nest screaming at his parents much of the afternoon. Meanwhile yellow girl and blue girl are pancaked in the nest box napping…

Three grumpy almost fledglings lined up on the edge of the nest box. Screeeaming! Green boy jumps down to the nest box practically stomping his feet. I can see his bands black/blue 62/AP. I’m thinking he will be the first to go….

Hmm- One of the Girls has gone AWOL. Green boy and sister are on the perch looking…. And green boy escapes, off to his right! Can sister#2 be far behind? Not yet….now 2 are in the box, one is blue girl. So does that mean yellow girl is still on the prowl?

One fledgling left in the nest box(blue girl) . I’m wondering if the others will come back to join her this evening . Well, 2 1/2 hours later and blue girl is still all by herself…but does t seem too bothered by it..

Awww- someone came back to the nest box to spend the night with blue girl. Do you suppose its her sister Yellow girl?

All three kids are in the nestbox! Is it for the shade or because somebody (green boy)? Was given a food reward and his sisters followed him to the nest? Yellow girl seems content with letting him have it, but blue girl is making a pest of herself, reaching in to get little bites. Green boy is defending his prize as devouring it quickly :loveheart:

According to Kate St. John, all of the kids have fledged. She said that it was between 6/4 p.m. and 6/5 a.m.
