Can hear youngster below. The one at box, is ready anytime now to leave. I hope it waits till other is ready, so we do not have premature fledge

The one who slipped from the nest box has fledged. He is on a long and wide ledge on an adjacent building, just six floors up. Lower, but a much safer and more comfortable place. He can walk around a large part of the building and will be able to find shade most any time of day. He doesn't look quite ready for full flight yet, with a bit too much fluff but he was able to get to this better place. The one in the nest box is looking like he's ready to fledge at any time.

Busy morning. The fledgling left his ledge. He is not able to get lift yet and and glided down to the ground. He was immediately rescued and enjoyed an elevator ride to the roof. He's been exploring the new space and got a full feeding.The other is still in the nest box. He also got fed. Now the one on the roof is zonked out in a food coma.

I heard him on cam before light, so when it sees an adult it will start calling
