One egg here but one now at GSB

What a fiasco

Egg 1 at LaX
Egg 2 at GSB

Elaine was at GSB at 4 am today.
I have NOT seen her at LaX all day.

LaX Ardy's been trying to feed the egg. :eggg15:

From what appears, Elaine spent all night last night and all day today at GSB.

As of now, she didnt return to LaX overnite or today.

A new unbanded female was seen with Ardy today. :17:

Terka...thanks so much for the pictures and video of Ardy and the unbanded female. I hope she sticks around as I felt so bad for Ardy after he lovingly stayed with Elaine while she laid that 1st egg. I thought for sure they would be a pair but her bond to Newman was apparently too much for her to give up! And your video of Elaine saying goodbye to the egg :sorrow:

. I just hope that she, Newman and any chicks will be safe from the GHO at GSB

Good images!

In my history of watching falcons, its possible Mate #2 will laying her eggs with this one and incubate all. Chances arent good this will hatch. This mate looks like another 2 year old.

This is a VERY odd year for all birds!

Storms will have a lot late, I know ours are usually returning and so far nothing, and I think we better take avian flu seriously
