male brought in prey first thing thi s morning, left with it and then came back and put in b ack of box. did not see anyone all day and he came back before dark and took prey out
male flies ot perch with prey

flies off and then comes back and puts prey in back of box

comes in this evening to collect prey

18:00
takes prey out

did not see any other falcons

Kalamazoo- new cam seems to be darker than the other one….one peregrine is perching at the nest yelling/ calling to another peregrine. I did spot a red black band….

Warren- female with black/ green bands checking the gravel. She flew out on the perch, turned around and I was just sure General. Brock was going to fly in ……

Wayne State- Tiercel brought a yummy food gift to the ledge and started calling his lady. In she comes, grabs the food gift and flies away, leaving the tiercel picking his talons :loveheart:

Macomb- Female standing on the nest box floor, not moving for several minutes….An article at government.macombgov.org, says the female’s name is “Brookie Cookie” - bands are bl/blue 52/K. They are saying the male is Nick bl/green 30/C. This is dated 2021. Is it correct?

No, Nick, who hatched in 2006 at the Whittier Hotel in Detroit, was replaced in 2021 with an unbanded male. Nick was in Macomb from 2009 through 2020 with Hathor until she was replaced in 2020 by a female who had a federal band only. She was replaced the following year by Brookie's Cookie.

Brookie's Cookie hatched in 2019 at Univ. of Michigan Medical, North Quad nest in Ann Arbor, MI. She has been at the Macomb nest since 2021. I have verified her band this year.
