On Friday (May 14), the flights of the falcons from Lublin were ringed.

We also have very bad news. One of the birds died in the morning.

- We do not know why one of the individuals died. T
he body was transferred to the Veterinary Institute in Pulawy, which will be investigating the case.
It was probably poisoning - said Sylwester Aftyka from the Lublin Ornithological Society.

The situation was similar two years ago. At that time, two cubs died of poisoning.
There are two flaplings left in the nest - both are males who were ringed on Friday.
It has not yet been decided what names they will bear.
