I wish I could record because I ma hearing falcons echupping in distance. It could be closer but because of background noise ,hard to tell

Wow Bev, I guess I need to turn the sound up. She quietly sat there all afternoon. Hope she heard the same thing!

I know it sounds insane that i heard the falcon call. but after being at my site for a few years I am in tune with them I think. there is a whistling sound in the background but this was definitely peregrine.
could be jsut one passing through but ...

Maybe Scout's keeping him hidden from us until she's sure that he's the one for her. Or, maybe two falcons are vying for her attention. She is a beauty, after all, and would be quite a catch for any male falcon.

Thanks for the great pics and coverage today!!! I think she's keeping her new beau a secret and waiting for the right moment to introduce him to us...She knows we're a tough audience!!!

Scout down there at the far end grooming away. A couple of times I thought I saw movement on the nest ledge, but when I went to full screen, turned out to be part of her own tail or wing. :roll:

Might be trying too hard. :lol:

I've had the cam up since lunch and haven't seen Scout at all. Looks like they're washing the windows or something. I see a rope over at the far ledge.

Good day everyone I did see Scout land on the ledge,go into the nest box for about five seconds then she came out and flew off.That was about an hour ago.I hope this is a sign that Scout has a suitor out there somewhere and that she will bring him to the ledge real soon
