This coloring looks like a juvie's coloring, but it doesn't have the beige band across its tail. I don't know at what point they lose that. Wish a knew more about yearling juvies--for here & Alcoa!

You are all right about IDs... the one lying down is Polly the juvie, she took a long nap this afternoon after a good meal - her crop was huge!! Her mom came to visit twice. To help with future IDs -she has a gray metal band on her right leg. Spirit has the colorful bands and Roger no band at all...

I think it just went live, SGB--I saw the livestream cam beneath the still cams, but it said offline until this a.m.

This is Polly--she went inside & I was able to see her on the still cam--so beautiful!

Hi everyone !
Yes there is live streaming from my work computer - it's a webcam connected to a telescope in my office. I hooked it up only a few days ago. However it's not always on, because it slows down my computer when I'm working! :-) Also I'm having problems with the cheap webcam, sometimes it goes totally white and I have to restart it... but I'm trying to find another computer to leave it on permanently. Be sure that when hatching will be near I will have it turned on all the time, and it will show the live stream from the box as well, as I am able to see it and show my computer screen. You might hear weird sounds like MSN popping though!! hahaha ;-)

Did you notice how big Polly's crop was again this morning ? She's certainly well fed! Look how her right leg is at weird angle compared to her left - but she seems to be able to use it to scratch and she can walk on it now.

I think she likes to take a nap in the box after a meal, like you skygirlblue, I am curious to see what will happen when her mom is ready to lay her eggs...!!
