*Amelia hasn't nested on the Travelers Tower since 2005. The new female is from Lawrence, Massachusetts, and the male is from Golden Valley, Minnesota.

I know that Amelia has been gone for years. The female from Massachusetts, as far as I know, is not named. The male is known as Goldeneye.

Of course, no peregrines nested on the Travelers Tower this year. I hope that next year the nest can be replaced in its original location, and that the birds will be allowed to return.

.OK. .hopefully, I read these band numbers correctly. Both birds had remnants of orange paint on the wing .. .First bird, 41/A (I think) red band on right leg. 2nd bird, 12/A, Red band on left leg. .

Ha Ha! I saw that too SGB!
We got impatient and worried to not see our pair on cam in the nestbox, so this evening we went to check on them....
Mystic was high up on her AEP tower, Maurice was on the court building antennae...Cheryl posted the pics on CMNH here: (4th post down on page)

He is very handsome!! We need C&C to pay a vistit to this site to get their Nat Geo quality pics, but for now...our digital will do...

Nice catches at Alma, Alison! I think we've seen more of this pair this year than in all prior years there has been a cam, which is of course a good thing! :sum10:

Sorry, No pictures tonight, (Canton OH Cam)...just a report that we saw Mystic as she flew over us around 6 pm with a VERY full crop, and she promptly went to her roosting spot...Did not see Maurice....

We have not yet figured out why they are not going in the box for a little bonding... :impat:

The peregrine went back to the edge of the box, almost out of camera range, and then seemed to be gone.
