I do believe their eyes are open. I did something inexcusable today, not ONCE but TWICE after I stoipped the recording, instead of hitting the save I hit the cancel. About 20 mins worth total of the cubs awake & playing.

Here is an exerpt from some of the action described on the Lily page about yesterday: ...Then Lily leaned out the entrance to eat snow and the cubs crawled into their familiar spot under her. When Lily pulled back into the den, the cubs were left behind! Faith was wide-eyed right in front of the camera, but Jason was so far out we could only see a bit of his fur! Faith was soon back in the den, but Jason crawled out of camera range. Hope made the first move to retrieve him but was quickly joined by Lily. Hard to tell who was doing the grunting. Hope pulled Jason back into the den by a hind leg as Lily nudged him with her nose!

Wonder how they're going to retrieve it, or whether they'll just use a new tube. I would think it would be dangerous for even Dr. Rogers to try to get anything out of the den with cubs in it! :-?

Tonight is the night to check the Lily Den Cam update.

Doc and Sue went to the den to fit Lily with her radio collar and to try and clean the camera lens. They got an incredible treat when both cubs left the den and interacted with them. Doc actually picked up one of the cubs. Lily ended up nursing the cubs outside the den, right in front of Doc and Sue.

Talk about trust.

It was amazing to watch. Absolutely incredible. If you get a chance to check the update, I'm sure you will be rewarded with lots of pictures and maybe even a video.
