TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Samson and Gabby were both at the nest a bit this evening perching. Then they flew to the LY to roost for the night. It’s a clear sky and big moon, so it’s possible they may return. Either way, we know where they are. SED everyone!

WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Well Lisa is right. We waited at the nest at tuck and it was a nada! However, they are roosting in the LY tonight. Just a good feeling knowing where they are. Check in at sunrise, and they will likely be bringing sticks and in stick placement mode. Niters to all! SED

FRIDAY TUCK-IN: I guess those rascals decided not to roost tonight at home. They circled and landed in the LY at 5:41pm with beautiful vocals. It's been a windy day, and they will likely stay put. Tomorrow the Hamlet will probably have some rain with cloudy skies in the forecast. SED everyone!

SATURDAY TUCK-IN: Waiting at the LY and no arrivals, on the way out I checked the ET and both were perched there. Gabby had just left the nest arriving there. They are staying put, but could make a quick flight across the street to the nest especially with the big moon. SED to our Samson and Gabby and SED to everyone out there in "Eagle Land"! MONDAY TUCK-IN: Hmm....no tuck tonight! We got stood up at the nest, ET and LY. Those rascals likely landed in the LY or ET after we left, or they are roosting close by. WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Glenn reported he thinks he sees Samson and Gabby perched in the LY. It was quite dark, but likely so! SED to everyone and enjoy a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving tomorrow!

There is continued programming to be done on Cam 3 (the wide angle/long-range cam). Once all is complete the cam page will correctly position the cams in order: Cam 1, Cam 2, Cam 3, Cam 4.

Not sure where Samson and Gabby are spending the night, but it doesn't seem to be the nest tree. Both were in earlier this evening.

FRIDAY TUCK-IN: Cam Op, leigh_AEF, did the tucking tonight. It was a busy morning at the nest and in the Hamlet. Samson and Gabby mated 3 times today and are sure spending more time at the nest. All indicators show us Gabby should be on eggs earlier than the previous years. They are roosting tonight at home as seen on Cams 1, 2, & 3! Samson is perched higher. Calm evening and a brisk night with lows likely in the upper 40's. SED to our Hamlets and SED to YOU too!

SUNDAY TUCK-IN: Once Samson and Gabby left the nest tonight late afternoon, they were heard vocalizing in the distance, but weren't seen, as we went a huntin' for them, and they didn't return to the nest either. No doubt they are very close by. Check in early tomorrow and odds are they will be back at it in the nest. SED everyone and have a wonderful week ahead! Each day we are getting closer to egg laying!

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Our cam op, debistl_AEF, and our chatters did the tucking tonight. We left the nest prior to Samson's departure, but Glenn confirmed he flew over to the LY and appears to be roosting there. All is fine in the pines. Samson and Gabby sure think so.....they are spending more time at the nest lately.....all good signs for good things to come! :Egg: :Egg: SED to everyone!

A BIG congratulations to our own NEFL chatters, Firebird and Alena, for winning the "Giving Tuesday" naming contest. We are all anxious to hear what the chosen names for the new eagles at AEF will be!
