I went far enough down in the HDonTAP chat to get confirmation from over 2 hours ago of an AEF mod saying Gabby has been here all day!! Also, found this comment below from someone on chat and am going out now to check out if I can get the 12 hour DVR.

"FYI- There is a You tube link to the 4k cam with 12 hour rewind- just found this out from Lady hawk..."

And Samson has returned again!!

Edit to add: The 4K on You Tube does have the 12 hour DVR, but each time I went back it was a little blurry and you are even unable to read the time, however after you wait longer than what you want to, it becomes clear and you can read what time it is then. So, if we want to go back and see nest activity, we have this option.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): MONDAY TUCK-IN: We were at the nest watching the deer and our sight on Samson and Gabby at the nest perched. We left for the LY and sure enough Samson flew right over us just a few feet and Gabby was right on his tail. They landed in their ST in the LY with sweet vocals. Samson later flew to the LYT which he seems to favor. I'm sure he later flew and is roosting next to Gabby for the night. I'm sure we will hear her never-ending vocals from afar in the am. Gotta love 'em! They are so connected! SED

Well, Gabby is still on the tree, so she is definitely hanging closer to the nest yesterday and today. Unfortunately, the majority of my viewing time is spent looking at a frozen screen, sometimes with the COD. Was really hoping that they would be able to resolve the cam issues this season, but apparently not. It REALLY takes away from the viewing experience here. This is the only cam site that I have difficulties with.

Nobody on the nest tree. Samson was here earlier for almost an hour per mod as they reported his presence at 4:39 on the tree. Went to YT on DVR to see him on Lookout Point.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Hmm. . .we arrived at the nest for tuck, and Samson was perched high on Lookout Point. He finally flew to the LY, and we followed. He landed on the LYT and was there until we left at dark. Gabby didn't show up UNLESS she was hidden in a nearby tree. She still could have arrived after we left, tho. We will have our ears on in the morning waiting to hear her mighty morning vocals. Should she happen to lay an egg tomorrow (Wednesday) her due date would be New Years Day!!! SED Y'all

Gabby has not been seen nor heard since she left the nest tree in the early afternoon of yesterday. As above she was not seen by the ground crew last eve at tuck. Chatters on HDON noted they did not hear vocals from her when Samson went to the LY last evening. Mod jd reported hearing Samson calling this morning from the LY, possibly calling for Gabby. The mod left it at that as there was not a response from her. Glenn reported seeing Samson leave the LY this morning headed toward the nest tree, however he did not stop per mods.

From scanning AEF chat this morning, I read from the mods responses to questions asked that Glenn is on the lookout for her and they said Gretchen is out this morning and I took that to mean she is out searching for Gabby. So, ground crew are searching for Gabby.

Gabby has not been seen since 1:38 PM when she flew from Lookout point yesterday after having spent all morning and early afternoon on the nest tree. Samson has not been seen since he flew from the LY a little after 8:00 AM today. Here is a summary of what the event log reported on Samson this morning:

Vocals were heard from Samson at 6:52 AM today coming from the LY. Glenn reported Samson was perched alone at this time. He flew off and it was felt to look for Gabby. He returned briefly to the LYT after 8:00 AM and then flew in the direction of the nest, but did not stop there. Again it was felt he was searching for Gabby.

There have not been any other reports today, so will have to wait for "The Tuck" later tonight.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Well your faithful "tuckers" didn't have any "tuckees" tonight. It was very quiet at the nest and in the LY. Not even a deer in sight! Perhaps our resident stars are taking some time off before it gets busy. Romeo and Juliet were known to take a day or two off prior to egg laying. We get anxious but need to trust the eagles (TTE), as it's out of our hands. Have a good night as we are busy preparing for Thanksgiving. Safe travels to those traveling. SED
