gretchen_AEF (Admin): TUESDAY TUCK-IN: Ok, where are your eagles tonight? We waited at the nest to tuck and finally went over to the LY, and they weren't there either. We waited until it was pretty dark and nada. There's a bright moon out there, and these guys are known for "night flying", so it's anybody's guess. Maybe they have found an owl-free roosting spot? In any case, it's nice to know they will return. They OWN the Hamlet! SED to all

Unbelievable, Gabby flies in at 3:00 am!! Samson shows up at 6:45 am and they mate! Nobody home now.

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Samson hops up the Sunset Branch at 12:47 to keep an eye on those pesky crows!

I just noticed the red line of the DVR is showing for all 4 cams, but does not work. No eagles right now.

Now the DVR is working, at least cam 2 is as that is the only one I checked. Poor Samson he is soooo disheveled from the rains as seen from his visit at 5:07!!

aka_AEF (Moderator): Good afternoon Hamlet family! Welcome to a windy overcast day here! It is always a beautiful day especially when we have Samson perched on the Sunset Branch as he is right now at 12:00! And off he goes at 12:04. Maybe he will bring Gabrielle back!

gretchen_AEF (Admin): THURSDAY TUCK-IN: That rascal, Samson, arrived at the nest just prior to chat and flew soon before. By then we left the nest and were over at the LY waiting for their possible arrival. Sure enough here they come flying in for a vocal landing in the LY. Samson must have spotted Gabby flying there and was in hot pursuit. They could be heard clearly on the cams but disappointed the chatters with an empty nest. However, it's always a relief knowing exactly where they are thru the night. Chat was a hoot tonight

Currently, only Gabby is on the tree! NEFL mod reporting they decided to leave the DVR off for now d/t the problems it causes the cams, works fine for awhile then the cams spasm. Can still go to YT though for the DVR on the 4K.

I am unable to get the cams to come in from NEFL site, will have to go to 4K on YT, but apparently both here now from mod notes. Gabby stayed during chat and Samson returned recently.

Have not been able to get the cams here since early this morning, also unable to get them on HDonTAP site. Only cam for me is the 4K on YT. They are not on the nest tree tonight per mod, but they did mate during a visit prior to going to the LY!

aka_AEF (Moderator): Good Friday afternoon Hamlet family! Looks like we have overcast skies here as we wait for Samson and/or Gabrielle to return! Ground crew on their way to the nest at 5:07. Gabby flies to the Wallenda Branches at the nest tree at 5:25, Samson arrives at 5:30. They mate immediately. Both flew at 5:40. The ground crew reports both Samson and Gabrielle are tucked for the night on branch at the ST in the LY.
