Bird Cams Around the World

at 1;20am jan21 - both eagles starting trilling.
the one that had moved into view below , moved right down the limb, but A2 is in view still.

so there were 3 in tree tonight , one flew out and now there are two.

I had recorder on or I would not have seen it


hope all settles down soon. will check in when I can but have other things on my plate.

5.45 am BOTH in nest after vocals
They fake-bit at each other, he leaves, she follows -
both perch on cam 2 on separate branchs
6 am both vocalize - normal chuckling

There were 3 flying together tonight by the full wolf moon seen from the ground.
8:00 pm A2 (Missy) perched alone
8:30 pm Another eagle near nest.

Beautiful adult male in nest late aft Jan 20, Missy squawked

The males are still battling it out here while A2 holds the fort at the nest tree. She occasionally vocalizes and gets quite loud when the disputing males get close.

916am - A2


919am - A2 (left) perched in nest tree with a male.


930am - Male brings a catfish to the nest and eats.


940am - Top view of male in nest.


955am - Nest defense. A2 on the left.


1050am - Male returns again defending the nest.


I am not sure if this is the same mature male from last night. The dark mark on the left side of the beak is missing...perhaps it was debris and not a wound? Not sure. The pics from this morning are also of a mature male eagle.

I saw 4 eagles - Missy perched and 3 flying

No one at nest overnite
6.35 am I heard an eagle chuckle
6.43 am Eagle chuckle is closer
6.53 am mod cam2 finds eagle in tree
DOES NOT look like Missy/A2
Is this B2? I've seen this eagle before!
7.10 another eagle arrives and they both sing
WHO ?
Mods call this A2/Missy ... but.... I doubt it - no Missy behavior
By the time I posted pics on RRP both eagles gone

Imagine how many mice, birds and squirrels are nesting in that huge eaglenest!

and 3 of male?

I did hear an eagle in tree last night also and jsu t could not find it
2 on branches of tree at9:32= one is A2 and the other has either injured talons or bloodied talons from prey

9:44am eagle on branch just left and A2, in nest and looking all around. heard a few distant trills but not alarming ones

I have been trying to keep track here, bu t I cannot keep this cam up for too long with my other cams today. because they are HD

last I saw at about 4:55pm was A2 on a branch. another eagle flew over . I did not see it land on nest as I only had 2 of their cams up but they both flew off.

so I have seen only A2 and white headed male today. would have to see talons to see if same one as this morning. maybe it will start to iron itself out.
most certainly do not want to see eggs around here this season. Too risky.

but you, know , I bet there are lots of eagles that look alike

for tonight , things are peaceful in eagle land

both in the nest rooting. very windy . hope they both stay on nest

9:05pm - both still on nest and really alert .

male just flew out. I did hear something in tree. Still do . sh e flew also . it spooked them. sounded like rustling, maybe someone walking below. . hear trilling in distance . something is out there that i s for sure. They could hear what I could not till they flew.
lots of trilling. maybe it was an owl. It was almost as if it was right under nest. they were really rooting.

this does not sound good. eagles out there are really upset. hope to see them back. what hearing they have

Indeed Bev...he is the same male that helped her defend the nest yesterday morning. He has a whitish patch of feathers on the right side of his breast. This evening, no one appears to be sleeping. Both on alert in the nest. There must have been turmoil during the day while I was at work. Mods say they were once again seeing 3 eagles flying overhead.

841pm - A2 on the right and mature male in nest.


843pm - The male has a whitish breast patch on his right side as seen in this pic and also in yesterdays pics.


852pm - A2 (foreground) dozing while the male remained on high alert. He took off shortly after this pic and she followed him.
