with th e return of Justice at Washington nest, and Liberty never really accepting another male eagle ( even thoughM2 protected her)( she went off for a few days.
So I wonder about Juliet and Romeo. I wonder if he knew where she was and is with her now

I don't know, bev. I have grave concerns for both of them, but especially Juliet. My gut is one or both may have fought for their egg and nest till their demise. I just don't see them giving this up. But, hoping we will see one or both late summer or the way eagles come and go here ... sooner. Oh what a happy day that would be!! If not, I'm hoping it will be Samson and A2. I'm glad there's a great outcome for the one's you refer to and this can give certainly give us some hope here.

A2 was not @ the tree that I know of, but a mod reports she was heard while Samson here. Mr. Samson came to the tree @ least 4 times today per mod and one of those visits was an extended stay with his fish. They have pics of his bloody head from before his bath today and his cleaned up self after his bath! :10val:

I always did believe Romeo knew where Juliet is and joined her.
Its very nice their offspring inherits the family nest

Samsom is on cam right now!! He came back awhile ago and ate his fish and now is perched on one of the branches.

Samson stayed all night in the nest tree and left @ 6:40 this morning!

Just got to see A2 in the tree, but she flew off. Her markings on the sides behind her eyes are fading. Will have to come up with another way to ID her shortly.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): Samson has been perched at the LYT since before 7am this morning. The crows are yelling at him and the ospreys are dive bombing him. He isn't phased. He's tough. . .he's "Hamlet Strong"!

Nobody slept on the tree last night.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): SUNDAY Tuck-In: Those rascals (Samson and A2) arrived at the nest tree soon after chat and right after we left, but we will take it! Samson was perched on the LYT for over 4 hours this morning and may have been there through the night. He arrived at the nest this afternoon at length as well. He's seen in hiding perched on Cam 1 and A2 is on Cam 2 (at this time). Our thoughts and prayers for those affected by the horendous storms crossing through the country. Please be prepared and safe. SED Y'all
