Alley's been doing a bit of shuggling and wiggling so that's a good sign that a hatch is immanent. It's still very windy and it looks foggy or misty there so she will probably stay glued to those eggs until the weather smartens up!

There is now food in the nest...intended for Alley or a new hatch...don't know...

OK...in the time it took me to crop the pic and upload to PB, the prey has disappeared...did dad retrieve it? did it fly away? Did alley tuck it under her? I have no clue...LOL

Thanks Carolyn and loza...I'm starting to get a little concerned. 5 egg clutches are so hard to predict, but I would have thought at least 1 hatch by now...I haven't given up yet..

WEll, let's not give up yet. Bay State Milling (another 5 egg clutch) just had its first hatch a little while ago..had some of the same lay dates as here...

I sure hope so, Carolyn...I have been checking a lot today...she's been a little more active on the eggs...I hope that's a good sign..I have the cam open now...and I keep thinking I see egg shell...but heck, I really can't see anything...hee hee..but a very pixelated bird and nest...
