I saw them lapping and calling as they went out o f sight today so may be fed out of sight

put cam up late but at 12:19pm MT youngster flew up form roof onto ledge and then to nest box. Stayed at box, till3:17pm . then went onto ledge , did flapping and then walked out o fsight at 3:17pm
but it was on from 10am and is stil up
adukt flew onto ledge at 12:58pm and then off and down at 12:59pm

there is a banded falcon around which is not goo d news for these kids

Isn't this Merri? Merri is banded.

Approx 9:45pm - Looking now, I see Merri on the pole and at least 2 right outside the box.

And now, at 10:17, 2 have moved into box. Mom took off between me opening the cam and posting my first message tonight.

I did read on their FB page that Merri came and knocked another falcon (could have been a tiercel, I guess) off the ledge either yesterday or today...can't remember ...

sorry , I thought merri was not banded. my mistake. I am mixing up with slat lake city

better quit while I am ahead but I had cam up most o f day and on record and never saw what was reported.

Bev, you are way ahead of me. I was gone last weekend for 4 days. Back this week and with holiday and hubby home extra days, trying to catch up myself. Haven't had much time to really "watch" watch, if you know what I mean. He's been wanting me to use the computer to find new chairs. I want to use it to watch birds... Guess he wins on this one! :girlyes:

SGB - I always forget to check the Posts to Page section. I was looking at the posts made by UMASS.

I believe it wa an adult in on ledge at 7 but di d not go to box. I only had very small as I had taped it

Lowell - I checked the cam last night just after 11pm and it was down, still no cam this morning.
