6 degrees - wind chill 6 below - it is bitter today! The sun is out though so that is a good thing.
I bet Yankee and Dixie are tired of the snow for sure!!!!

I find that this pair can often make me smile... Yankee wind surfing, and back on January 7 when SGB took a video of Dixie while she did a "weather check" during the mini blizzard... sooooo funny!

I've checking this site today - this morning Dixie seemed cold and pensive!!!! We are under a blizzard warning right now arriving sometime after midnight according to the local news.

I think the local TV station should hire Dixie on as a weather girl ! She is still there, sleeping I think at the edge of the nestbox.

We are having a snow storm for sure and it is cold but not as cold as yesterday. I can't even see the back of my yard where I have some pine trees because of the white out. I don't see anyone at the nest right now. I was out driving in this at noon time and it was very difficult to drive in. I guess I am in for the day and will now get busy with chores or looking at bird cams. Hmmmm which is the better idea?
