It’s banding Day for Elaine’s chicks. And Elaine is screeching - is it time? Nope, not yet….Now she is feeding them. One is not coming over…I hope it’s OK……

I just found out that they will do a FB live today at 1:00 CST for the banding at GSB!!

Hoping we can get the band numbers or if anyone should get the band numbers, could you please share them here? I am working on updating the family tree to add Elaine.

The nest box is empty, but I hear Elaine screaming….. The nest box is pretty dirty- I see a lot of flies…I hope they clean it out…

Its people! She is cleaning the debris out, and washing the camera lens. I hear chicks.... one is mad! All 4 are back!

Chicklets were banded yesterday.
Apollo is likely right about 3 girls n a boy.

Amy took time to clean out the box a bit and wipe off the camera lens before releasing the birds. They all scolded loudly from release until Amy climbed out of sight. Then it took a short while for them to settle down wearing their new bling.

RRP will supply the numbers, sexes, and names if they named each one as in past years.
