You know, I do fledge watch, and I know it is so hard when other sites do not, as you do not know what is happening. But I know how tough watches are. I am wearing down, and most people do not want to make the commitment. there will come a time soon, when I just cannot do it anymore,But all it really takes are some eyes to watch from below and track kids. If you have numbers of people to call, and you have good nerves( I do not) that is what it takes. the commitment is huge as it takes hours of watching.

so I hope these kids are O.K. Urban jungles are just not good at best of times and I just like to think positive until otherwise told

I'm planning to give it another shot this weekend early in the mornings... I just wish other people would be there - I JUST DON'T KNOW ENOUGH! :girlcrazy:

Pics, videos and reports so appreciated! Thanks! :loveheart2:

Bonbon..you WILL be fine...and you DO know enough...You already know more than the average pedestrian walking those sidewalks...or office workers in those buildings..so,you are ahead of the game!! The what ifs can drive you crazy, that's for sure...but, you have a set of eyes, a cell phone with important numbers and maybe binoculars...So, thanks for thinking about going back down!!!

Thanks, Sky!
12:55pm - Pretty sure I saw a fly-by!

Rain predicted on and off today, tomorrow and Saturday; could be heavy at times...

Is it possible to hear them from the ground (if they are sooooooooo high up???)?
(I couldn't hear a thing - other than the normal song-bird sounds when I was there! I have binoculars - and I followed Bev's(?) advice - and left my camera at home! All my 'equipment' is still in the car - box, sheet, gloves, PHONE NUMBERS!!! :egglaugh: )

FYI....Last known location...far left ledge, outta cam view...if she fledges from there, we'll never know...

and bonbon..yes, you'll be able to hear a screaming juvie (do you know what they sound like?) The trick is figuring out where the sound is coming from. That's what I had the most trouble with...LOL

you will be fine bonbon. :egg17:

and trust me when I say, the whole world knows when a kid is hungry LOL

just look where adutls go , if you cannot find them. I always scour the ground area and then look to rooftops and ledges . They can make themselves so small when they want to.so cell phone and your numbers and the stuff you have.

I had some good advice , when I started the watch way back when. just you being there is key. they are better off with you there. and also , if you have to get them out of harms way, it is still better than the alternative. And if one should succumb, it happens in nature also. not comforting , I know , but fact.

so just try and have fun. just watching the adults is great to see also

bonbon...I found this posted on Facebook...I won't list her last name..just go to their FB page and you will find it..

apparently a person named Marsha was down there today, watching...here was her first report from about an hour ago..:

Confirmed sighting of one fledgling on the 26th floor - south side of the building. One parent was sitting on the "S" in the "Transamerica" letters at the top of the building, while the other parent was sitting on the FNB Building - Initially thought it was the other fledgling on the FNB Building until I saw it fly - very well - up onto the 30th floor of the World Trade Center building. Only observed one baby on the 33rd floor.

Then about 42 min. ago:

Headed back down town tomorrow morning - (sunrise).....fingers crossed I'll see all three babies!

Thank you everyone - haven't checked FB yet - will do so in a sec... what a great report from her! :sum9: She definitely sounds like she's done this before!
...what a relief that I should be able to hear them; I've watched so many YouTube videos and cams in the past couple of weeks, I'm pretty sure I'll recognize their sounds! :flirty:

When I parked the car, last weekend, I was looking around FNB - thinking it was "our" building! (I thought it was looking at Bank of America not First National! Duh!) I may have to get up early tomorrow and take a ride... will see how things go!

Thanks again, everyone - I really appreciate your encouragement and information! :loveheart2:
