Hi Rose,

My office is located on the 18th floor of the adjacent building. The Leveque Tower has various HVAC equipment at the top of the lower part of the building beside where the tower continues. This area is flat like the top of a normal building. The pigeons like to hang out there are they can mill around the equipment and seek shelter if they see the Peregrines or Cooper's hawks first. :) It really cannot be seen from the street.

I think you're right...sure looks like it could be Durand!!

I just now heard a juvie screaming in the distance - perhaps on a different ledge from the nest box ledge. Now all is quiet!! Perhaps whoever was screaming will visit the ledge and show us their band for a definite ID :sum9:

Thank you Mike for the great explanation; no wonder you can get such great pictures aned video since you work in an adjacent building to the Leveque Tower; that is the good news; the bad news is that the ledge on the Leveque can't be seen from the street. Thank you for sharing the pictures. It is great to know that the juvies are still in the area.

You know, I blew through here a few minutes ago thinking nobody home. But, now I see either a very, puffed-up chest or a large, crop @ the near ledge! It's up high, could this be Durand again? :teehee:
