I missed that..read chat and thought she sent him off because she didn't want baby fed right away. He's like a kid when it comes to his babies. :teehee:

Well, B just went and picked up cache for snack. DC was in with kids. B came in with prey & DC took & left with it before she got a chance to feed a bite.

Well, DC has visited the deck twice now. Pretty sure he has prey.

I think he wants B to come out and get it so he can spend time with kids.

Funny, he was just about to get comfy with the kids when B came back with the food.

And he just flew off again.

DC in with kids now. B left in a hurry after what sounded like alarm chups - rapid chupping, not kaaking. Just like she does when another falcon is in the area.

Of course, it could be because she saw him with food and wants it for the kids....hopefully.

I was wondering if DC would want his "once a day" feed again this year. He is a very "hands on" kind of dad. :loveheart2: Glad to see 2 healthy, energetic babies here! :clap:

Beauty just came back & DC very reluctantly turned the kids over to her.

DC has shown up twice with food wanting to feed the babies, but Beauty wanted to do it & tried to get the food. He won & left with it both times. Well, the kids won't be hungry at this point, so this is probably a good time to establish the rules.
