Thanks Liz!!

From what I know and understand about Mom's fungal infection, 50-50 odds is really good...

...and just an FYI, Liz, about subadult females..(In case this question pops up on facebook or your blog)..It was once believed that subadult females were too young to reproduce. While there is a greater chance for infertile eggs, this isn't true. We have actually watched several subadult females lay and raise 3 or 4 chicks!!...But it does make for nervous times with females so young!!

hmmmmmmmmmm....at least in those pics, that does not look like Mom. I know she isn't feeling well in those pics...but, the white over the beak is missing..and the sideburns don't look right..I'll have to look more closely when I have better functioning brain cells..

of course, if that's not mom, then did this ill female displace Mom?

I'll be able to monitor the cam until about 5 pm (eastern) on Wednesday...after that, I'm gone for the rest of the day..

Well this is weird... I don't think the dead male is our male from last year. Bob sent me photos of the dead bird and it doesn't seem to be the same. I guess we will know better if we get a cam shot of the male he saw yesterday. http://www.ksl.com/?sid=34147872&nid=14 ... id=queue-8

:eggsad: Have been here off and on all day and did not see any falcons. Have to wonder what happened to Mom and if the the male they are seeing is Dad? I sure hope we see a falcon here this week!!!

The same two pigeons were in the box this morning...doing strange pigeon things...I haven't seen them since..

Bob reported on FB that 2 PeFa's were seen again on the Key Bank Tower Signs..

I'm getting attached to these two! Love how they are always together. And didn't realize how much pigeons like to people watch! :teehee: Sure hope they get out of the area safely, if falcons return!

They are both there now...I can't figure out what she is doing. She actually looks like she's incubating...but, if there is an egg, she laid it while lying down...I haven't closed this cam all day.....he just continues to eat..
