Spark and Trinity at Wilmington, have a bit in common. He must have been in a scrap. He still has that patch of missing feathers the back of his head.
Good to see the babies are doing well here!! :loveheart:

I thought they looked as if they had company as in "banded"! :teehee: I was just going through the posts/pics for today d/t every time I have looked in on them, they have been in that corner. We are experiencing cooler temps and I saw earlier Beth noted cooler temps were expected there ... but, is it that cool ...

thanks for the pics, videos, and info. It's a shame the cam view is blocked on the inside and no view at all at the entrance where they hang out. I feel that I've missed a lot this year. Well, it has been so in the past too. I am also saddened that they will no longer be banded after this year. How will we know what becomes of them? If they have their own nest or if they perish. Who will clean the camera off? How long before they will do away with the cam altogether? I too have checked several times only to see them huddled in the corner. I refreshed but then would realize that a little puff of fluff was moving, so cam working. I don't remember the names now but pretty sure I chose Bolt and Storm, but not Flash.

I'm surprised that they chose even one of the names I voted, let alone all 3! I also hate that banding is being done away with. I think enthusiasm is going to wane for these cams and therefore interest in the falcons once people can't identify the birds at a nest. Its a shame. :girlsad3:

Me too!! I chose those same 3 names...I never choose the chosen names...LOL

I am really sad that this will be the last year for banding!! Its great that falcon recovery has been such a success (well, not in my home state...grrrrr) Part of the fun of watching is knowing WHO we are watching: where they were born, who their parents are, how long they have been at a particular location, etc., etc., etc...I guess after the Ohio classes of 2015, we will never know if one of "our" kids establishes a nest of his/her own.. :girlsad3: Gosh...I remember all the debate, several years ago, about the unbanded males

I wonder how many more states will stop banding after this year...

This was the end of the 5:20 feed...not the best vid..(I had too many other cams open)...after Durand leaves, I do believe Baby threw up a pellet!! First time I've caught any of the kids doing this...

yes, Cat Woman, I would love to burp the kids LOL and I forgot to vote :egg13: :egg13:

Yup, I think banding i important, but even where I am, who knows what will happen after the count this year. * this is the year to see if they have made what they set out to do)

WE realize that it is hard to get to all places but I think where they are reachable , band them.

After a short snack, Fluffy and Baby stomp around abit.
It's supposed to get warmer today than yesterday, although the morning is still chilly.
