What's going on here today? Twice at least a parent has hopped into the nest with no food and scanned the nest for scraps while chirping at the chicks.

Just now both Spark and Durand came into the nest to look around, neither had food.

OK Durand just hopped in with a morsel. Maybe they were just gauging interest? "Hey kids, are you hungry yet?"

Well, at least they are out of their chick pile...I guess the cooler temps have kept them in the box. 2 have now moved to the door and are dozing in that little strip of sun...I haven't seen crops lately...and I missed the breakfast feed, but crops were full earlier today...
