 My first glimpse of a peregrine at the Chesapeak nest this morning …And when I peeked in at 12:43, the falcon was back ! AND 2 minutes later and TWO unbanded falcons are bonding in the box!!!….And….at 5:05pm someone has stopped in at the nest again!

TRAVELING EGGS March 26, 2022 Boh moved the eggs over to the doorway where he can see any threat. Dad is a Watchman - even when baby sitting. He was 'blind' stuck behind the wall. So he moved his babies where he could do both. There is a ledge thru that doorway where the young falcons go out and nap out of cam view around the outside. Its not a dropoff. All is well, all is well

 Dad came in for egg duty about 2 hours and 15 minutes ago…. Our falcons who have suddenly died kind of makes me nervous, so I’m trying to snoop around, making sure both pairs are present…..Other than size, are there other physical or personality traits to help me figure out who is who, here Shepherd?

A new mom can act strange. A few Barbs ago, she got scared and flew off when the first egg hatched. She eventually turned out to be a great mom. I wonder where she is now. Other new moms display other odd behaviors.
