This Eaglet is a biggy for being only a day old WOW

So far nothing at Sandy Ridge Ohio, but food is starting to be brought to the nest SOOOOOOO!

A friend took this yesterday. When I went today, I saw Dad circling the lake and then Mama incubating. It was too windy and raining so no pic from today.

Hopefully it will be calmer weather tomorrow and I will try again. I put a tripod in the car to stabilize the camera.

I have 2 tripods table top & stand up one, and can't use either one :teehee:

Avon update
I think there might be the 3rd hatch at Avon, mom pulled a shell out . She was covering the babies good the snow is flying and the wind is terrible. So won't know anyhing til the sun is up.

its getting wind and snow, mom is getting covered in snow & ice, so won't know about any more hatches til morning.

I've said it before & I'll say it again. These bird just amaze the sh*t out of me with their dedication to the eggs & babies

Avon still 2 and a huge fish brought in, mom waited til wind died down a bit before feeding the babies
