News from Alcoa... Arconic Now
October 28, 2016
Transition to Arconic
On Tuesday, November 1, Alcoa will separate into two publicly traded companies. Davenport Works and the EagleCam will be part of the company named Arconic.

As part of the transition, this weekend our corporate IT folks will be working to move this blog to the new website. Starting about midnight (EDT) tonight any comments you post here will likely not be part of the move. Look for an additional update on Monday, October 31.

October 27, 2016
New Camera Ordered
Hopefully our new camera will arrive soon and we can get it installed before the weather turns cold. In the meantime we seem to have fixed our streaming issues and are now able to up the feed to HD quality. We will be replacing some computer equipment next month as well which will hopefully keep our feed from dropping offline as often as it has in the past.

Below are tracking maps for Sky and Star from today. Sky is still in what I call south central Illinois. He appears to be a little south of a town by the name of Herrick. Star is still hanging out in the center part of Wisconsin.

Mom's in egg position, looks like #2 is on the way
I do believe there is 2 now, but the cam is very jumpy.
