Yikes Arjen...baby did not get fed again in that video.. That little one was at the back of the pack...again. Once it finally squeezed its head out to the front, the largest chick fell on top of it. Then, all 3 fell on top of it and it got no food. I hope this wasn't the 1st feed of the day! If so, baby has not eaten since yesterday morning. This little one needs to figure out how to maneuver around everyone to the front. :girlsad3:

Durand left and Aries is babysitting. Maybe she'll return with a mid-morning snack.

I just saw a nice feed and placed all my posted under Union County New Jersey by mistake. Thank you Bon bon for moving them over here below. Baby got a real nice one-on-one feed from Durand. All looking great. Here are the pics that go with the post below that Bon bon carried over. Thanks again!

Durand back with food...doing a feed...and BABY IS IN FRONT! Woo hoo. Little one is getting some food. Whew! Sigh of relief.

Baby dropped out...went into a food coma before the other three. I wonder if that's a little male again. Durand's last hatches seem to always be boys. It's a real tiny little tyke

10:53am
Whoops...spoke too soon. Baby woke up and is getting a very nice personal feed from Mom. Right up front. Baby and I feel good now. I can now leave my computer and do errands the rest of the day. I got pics. Happy viewing.

Aries is babysitting. The kids are a bit bigger and he is having a bit of a time trying to cover them...there are kids under his tail and in front of him. He finally gave up on that and is now laying in the sun on the porch, He's straddeling the lip of the nest box. Looks like he is enjoying himself in the sun while Durand is away. She probably wishes she could do that...lol.

1:00 pm - Aries moving from sunning himself to shading the kids...but they were already in the shade...lol.

Feed going on right now. Everybody is getting something...thanks to one of the larger chicks konking out!! LOL

Wait...larger chick is dragging itself back to the upright position and forcing itself to eat more..hahahaha

Itty-bitty #1 is zonked...itty bitty #2 is almost zonked..

Looked like a good feed (even though I missed the beginning!!)

Well I took a couple of shots but photobucket is not accepting them at the moment.

Anyway I feel better about the little guy. Right before the feed which I knew was coming, I saw that he was in good position and was like just stay where you are little one.

Aries just brought more food..not sure we'll have a feed, though...He's baby sitting..

I feel your pain, ljames...PB has been rejecting my pics all morning and its taking multiple tries to upload..

and she has returned...but, not with what Aries brought...I don't think
