Good Friday morning to everyone: yea to Durand on her 4th egg too!! Winter just did not want to go away; last night we had really strong winds and rain and dropping temps waking up to 33 degrees this morning. Don't worry, we live in Ohio, it will be 60 tomorrow and 70 on Sunday - yea!!

Now is the time to clean the house to get ready for bird watchingonce the eggs hatch.

Happy egg sitting watching today - and hopefully life here will be boring although my heart is with Spark - I pray that he is at least safe somewhere. Have a great Friday everyone - thank you for the great reporting and pictures/vidoes!! You are all the best with our leader the greatest, SGB

Aries on daytime egg duty, as usual. Since it appears there won't be a 5th egg, I wonder if they will try to fix the sound here?

Been checking on and off all day and every time I peek in, I see Aries on egg duty. A very devoted Dad. At this rate, I think Durand should bring HIM some dinner.

I missed the switch, but it looks like Durand is home and she is in for the night shift.

Something really had his attention up above for quite awhile.

I usually quit watching during incubation, which is where I thought we were here, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw 4 eggs.

I see Durand just landed for the evening shift.

been busy, but 4 eggs . look s like a tummy full for our boy LOL

Turned on the cam to see a falcon fly off the ledge at 6:26 am. Must have been Aries heading out to hunt. I Just caught the switch at 6:47 am...Durand was snoozing and Aries appeared on the ledge just outside the nest box with breakfast. She came out for it and he is now on egg duty. Have a great day all!

Durand seems to have forgotten that she has 4 eggs. She is only sitting on 3 of them.

....after re-positioning three times, Ms. Durand finally nailed it. My goodness, she had a time keeping all 4 eggs in a nice little huddle. Imagine if she had 5? Whew!

7:54 pm - First reposition - the stray egg is now under her tail...hmmmm.


7:56 pm - Second reposition - nope...not quite right either.


7:58 pm - Third reposition - ahhhh, that's just right. All the kids tucked in for the night. She went to sleep like this.


You gotta luv her. Boy, is it ever great having sound again!

Nest cam down. Sound still there.

Well, the nest cam is back up now, but there is no sound coming from it. The sound is working on the ledge cam though. I hope they are able to solve the issue before the chicks start to hatch, or we'll miss out on those sweet little "peep peeps" they make.
