hallelujah she took out the duck. the male has brought it to the gravel again , but at least it is out o f the box.

We will start to need bigger prey soon but those little shore birds get bigger LOL E4 is very possessive of her brood.

We have 3 to watch and fledge. Just watched the wing feeding table that R has now. So, smart they fall over onto the wing.

Hi Gang. Just popping in to see how our Falcon projects are going. And I see all is going well. I will attempt to stop in now & again for updates.

No reports from Red Deer, I don't even know if our Pefa are here this year. I have stopped by the tower on occasion but have seen no signs of our beloved Pefa. Not just that, but some certain "somebody" caused me to lose much interest in the tower. No one, not even JB seems to be reporting anything this year.

been a hectic day., we are watching for feeds to make sure young one gets enough. would.l have rathered we did nto have hatch 4 but ......

And we had window washers start of day. equipment still there but we do not know yet if they have been stopped. Jean is keeping us updated and I have made phone calls. We were told they would not be doing anything till fall. I just get so frustrated as I put everything in place, get my ducks in a row and then ......

took a trip down there as things looked a bit different than we are used to. but everything seemed calm, so maybe just a change of pace as kids are older.

this i s a must see. One young one escaped the side door. E4 was not too happy and keeps trying to get it back in. the funny thing is ,she keeps going back to the other one, anytime it moves, and drags it further away form door. Back and forth. the chick finally makes it back in on its own, but anyone who watched last year, know how she loves her chicks. She tires to keep them small forever. LOL

I noticed that West end, and we are going to keep a n eye on this. it got in first two feeds, but hat was not a big enough piece of food. RAdisso usually feeds front row first and then gets to others, she ran out of Food.

so next feed will be an important one.

thank yo u SGb. we are really watching to make sure wee one gets enough. he is 2 days younger than bigger ones. I think it is all about position right now and he can see now so should able to move a bit. adn of course, feeds need to be often so bigger ones are full and wee one gets his.
