It's now 6:43, and Little Dad is zonked on the eggs. And yes, Niecey is over on the U Building's roof.

About five minutes ago there was a canoodle on the U roof. Shortly afterwards Niecey arrived for the night shift. Little Dad is preening on the point now.

7:36, Lil Dad flew. I could hear dogs barking from below.

At 5:18 EDT, something is on the ledge beyond the orange pole (on cam 3), but not able to be seen on the point cam, that could be prey lying on the ledge and Lil Dad standing above it with only a black speck that might be his head. I really am unsure of what I am seeing. I have seen the black spot move very slightly 2-3 times. Niecey is lying on the eggs. At 6:09, I heard cries and from cam 3, I saw Niecey flying from behind and she went out and came over the end of the ledge to where Lil Dad had indeed been standing over prey and I assume she took it as I no longer see it. The orange column blocks the view of them together. Then Lil Dad appears walking from behind and to the left of the column and he walked down the ledge to the nest and is lying on the eggs. Niecey does not return. Niecey returns to the point @ 6:36 and is gone within the minute and does not appear on any of the other cams, while Lil Dad remains in the nest. When I checked the stick cam again @ 6:39, Lil Dad is gone and does not appear on any of the other cams. Then he returned immediately and is lying on the eggs and she has not come back as I leave.

Your early morning posts are always appreciated, SWINWK. Little Dad is on the eggs at the moment, and dozing off frequently. Looks like we're in for another beautiful day here, with temps well above normal.

It's amazing how much they have been on the eggs this year. Very seldom do I tune in to find the eggs uncovered, which is good cause I can remember when Niecey first came here she didn't know what to do til Lil Dad taught her. Now she's a good mom. Maybe this time all 4 eggs will hatch.

At 4:26, Niecey hopped off the stick and with soft calls walked toward the nest, but curiously she stopped halfway and went back to the stick. Then a couple minutes later, she walked into the nest and Lil Dad slipped out the back door and flew toward the U, but veered to the left and out of sight. Went to the point to await his arrival, but even though I could hear his loud screams coming in, he must have landed somewhere near, but not on cam. After 2-3 minutes he shows up on the point.

Little Dad left the point for the night a few minutes. Niecey was on the point for quite a while preening, and flew out over the train station like she was hunting, but returned about a minute later. When she came to the scrape for the night, Little Dad had his back to her, and seemed rather startled at first. He got up and went out the back door, and Niecey settled in for the night. He flew over to the point for a few minutes before leaving. It has looked very rainy here for a while, and showers are to arrive overnight.

:15heartbeat: Niecey is still alone this morning lying on her eggs @ 4:36 EDT. I was lucky enough to be watching the stick cam @ 6:20, when I noticed a falcon flying up the street after having made a wide loop outward toward the nest area. Moving to the point cam, Lil Dad lands with a gift for Niecey. She flies in to the point and grabs and flies with her gift. Lil Dad stood there for a moment, then off to the nest and @ 6:22 he is lying on the eggs. Niecey did not return. Niecey has returned to the nest with Lil Dad backing out the back door and flying to the point @ 8:02!

Thanks for your early report, SWINWK. I would guess Niecey took her breakfast over to the U Building to enjoy it, and is now having some down time while Little Dad is incubating. Overnight showers didn't amount to much, and now the sun is trying to come out. More possible showers today and WARM Possibly even a thunderstorm.

Niecey is asleep on the eggs @ 5:28 EDT. Am getting lots of buffering from the cams this morning and not able to keep up well. By 6:18, I notice Lil Dad is already on the nest and Niecey is on the U, but I did not hear or see the exchange. Niecey flew from the point of the U @ 6:31, headed to the other side of the building and going right till out of view. As I leave @ 7:04, she has not returned. Well, I started to leave, but heard Lil Dad talking without a response. Going back in, I did not see Niecey. Then @ 7:05 I could see a falcon flying toward the U from the stick cam and Niecey lands back on the point of the U. Lil Dad remains on the eggs and Niecey is still @ the U as I leave @ 7:10.
