Watched a feeding but only saw 3 heads, Niecey was in the way most of the time. Almost looked like 3 were sitting on top of the fourth. But like I said couldn't see much. This was about 12:20.

Just saw ANOTHER feeding. Those chicks were already so full they were barely interested.

:spring1: The chicks are in a snooze bundle and Niecey is up on the front shield of the nest preening and watching the skies! :spring1:

Another feed by Niecey right now! It was over by 7:25 and Niecey is brooding the chicks. I missed the 1st 3 minutes d/t buffering at both sites and some through out the feed. Do know the 3 that were interested at varying times through out got bites. Niecey finished it off, including the leg. Lil Dad was not on any of the cam views.

saw some of the feeding. Not enough to really say how it went. Looks like the chick closest to the camera is injured. I saw Niecey step on it earlier in the day right in the same spot, but pretty sure it looked that way before. Niecey seemed to be extremely stiff at the time, stretching not moving well. Don't know how long she had been it that position, but she ended up sitting at the edge of the entrance to the nest. She was panting too, but I looked up the temps for the day, something like 53 -73,so not hot. I saw the chick on the far bottom open it's mouth but appeared to be too sleepy or something to stand up to eat. Naturally I quit watching, so maybe it was fed a lot at the end.

edit to add photo of Niecey stretching and in front of the scrape.

Sorry didn't post sooner.

Went in and found Lil Dad on the point. He had his back to us and left after a couple of minutes and flew to the right.

As far as I know that is the one that did not eat, but I had troubles with buffering ... see my post above yours.

Coming in at 5:30 EDT, Niecey is on the nest. Then at 5:59 I could hear Lil Dad's cries and Niecey leaves the nest. She returns immediately with prey and I never saw Lil Dad. She begins to feed the chicks and takes some for herself. Only 2 chicks interested so far. At one point she started to leave, but changed her mind and came back and continued the feed. Not everyone is interested and the ones that are not continue to sleep. At 6:06, she leaves taking the leftover with her and returns a couple minutes later. At 6:09, I could hear slow, guttural, cries from Lil Dad close by and Niecey raises her head reactively, but I could not find him on any of the cams.

I am reading with concern about one of the chicks. In the feedings i watched yesterday I didn't get the impression that anything was wrong. i'll be watching as much as possible today, but in about an hour someone is coming here to do some work at my place. Niecey is brooding right now. It's kind of cool and breezy here this morning. Not raining, but overcast.

Watching a feeding and only seeing 3 again. I hope there is nothing wrong here with one. One camera for close ups keeps freezing.

Screen ok now Fourth one finally pop its head up. Maybe I keep missing feedings but it seems like the parents are feeding them like they did in the past. That one looks a little small.

Just watched that most recent feeding. I don't think the chicks were very hungry, as it looked like Niecey was forcing them to eat. Finally found the fourth one at the end of the feeding. Pretty sure it was not fed.

I know Lil Dad was just in the nest, but d/t buffering, I did not see what happened. I thought he might have wanted a turn with the chicks though. Can't find him now.

Tuned in to find the kids in a huddle. Niecey is either on the stick or the box. Out of sight.
