These babies are so special.

That looks like one of the boys grabbing the prey but it is big doll, she races to the back with it and mom has to take it away from her to feed all.

Later all 3 are piled up in the corner for a nap. I'm so happy for her to have nest mates.

So evidently, they banded the chicks today, One girl and one boy.
I nearly had a heart attack watching the guy cram the chick back into the nest. (there is a video of it on the side there) They should put them in little draw string bags of something. They said they were in good health. Let's hope that still the case.



I guess this is mom still freaking out. Chicks are behind the panel, or at least one is, I saw it go back there.

Thank you for the video Terka. That looked like torture for those little ones. We have to trust that man knew what he was doing. And he probably did. They looked a little old for the banding. Isn't it generally done when the eyases are younger.

Here they are now having a much deserved snooze! When they wake up it will have been just a bad dream....lol

I just got a chance to scroll back to see the retrieval of the chicks and it MADE ME SICK!!!!






They need to hire somebody qualified to do this job.

I pray they are not injured to the point that they can't fledge. Unbelievable.

Finally able to check back in on the chicks. Didn't see them flapping yet.

Few pictures from today. I have pictures from everyday, actually. So they are going out on the ledge, tried to get from inside and outside views. They seemed extremely hot today though.


Well it's hot , I just hate to see them panting so much. Big girl is getting so dark. It is so fun to see them interact.

Well they are out and about.

Some shots from today. Evidently, one on the chicks did not return to the nest tonight. They were panning the cam a good bit and do not know where the baby is.

His sister has re-appeared.

Yay YAY

It was the male that went missing, although they said it was the girl. I stared at that bird for quite awhile last night and went back over the tapes to make sure that at the last minute they didn't switch positions. Anyway, I'm so glad they decided to put him back as he was on the ground somewhere. There are reports on the main page.

Here they are putting him back. So glad they didn't shove him through that little door, He looked ok with the whole thing, but of course, mom, was going crazy.



I think the guy smiled at him after he was in the nest, well who wouldn't right?

I am very attached to this nest so that the male has been returned is wonderful news.

Well it's been windy as heck, just knew I see one blown of the ledge, but every steady so far, except for the bad door, which has come unlatched and is flapping away.

Also I saw Mom, Dad, and the juvies together . Think Dad in the back, right of the ledge.

So it seems that one of the little male chicks fell off, jumped off, or was blown off the ledge. He appears to be running around around the roof. I don't think he was in the box last night and it poured during the night.









The one chick in the box is having a time flapping.

Looks like some blocks over there that might be configured to make steps back to the box.
