FB shows she has gone to box for a bit. Please let her realize this is a better option

I think the new camera bar has her apprehensive about laying in the box.

I feel so bad for Grace. sh e is so hot and trying g to keep eggs covered.

wish they could put them in box but I know it is not an option here

they sure are dong their best to incubate these eggs.

next year, they will move box right back so there is no room to nest, and they will try and do something about cam arm. this year , they were only given one hour to put up new cam , so they did the best they could. Who could know that
Grace may not like it , or that she would lay eggs behind box.

Hindsight is always better. LOl

they cannot just shinny down there now as it involves a lot. they have to actually rope down, as we know.

So we will watch and hope for the best outcome. The cam operators are great and we are so thankful for a nice cam.

Hi Bev!

It's been very warm here the last few days. I think they are anticipating a high of 86+ today. It's going to get so hot for them with no shade and the heat off the building and on the black concrete.

Possible rain/showers next week.

Sad situation, but as you and the Cam ops in SJ have said, we make the best of it we can.

I can't watch Grace getting tired in this sun, I feel sorry for the eggs, they can get overheated.

Well, she had such a beautiful nest and she chose a place for her nest here

Good, I'm glad they will move the box back next year. It will be interesting to see if the chicks use the box.
