she is looking for male this morning. He is not usually late

I went back in tape and he was at edge of box at 5am. keeping guard, so he should be in soon for his shift

Thanks bev. I went through the DVR numerous times yesterday...several times I thought I saw 4, only to question my vision in the very next frame...LOL

I did the same. they did a close up in morning and there were only 3 but I do think 4 was later in day, yesterday. sh e does not give away much

Springfield...Monarch Place..

This was so cute. Dad wanted to feed the kids, but Mom kept taking the food. He eventually just ended up handing it to her then she would feed.

This was yesterday. Usually he brings food to her and she goes out to get it, don't see the prey but this is a little pathetic.

Today he brings in more prey that you can see is a whole bird.

I read somewhere that the male is not there that much but he is bringing food. I have found that the male is on the nest for hours at a time, morning and afternoon. :girlyes:

He is a good Dad, and I hope that he doesn't want the chicks all to himself. :flirty:

Lowell....I'm not giving up quite yet. 4th egg was laid 4/4...so, still a chance...but, I'm worried..especially since they had no chicks last year due to displaced male.
