What link do you use? I get a black screen on the website:
And on the Earthcam page I get the message that the webcam is not available.

I couldn't her catch off the eggs, but you're right, not a very good view of the eggs, SGG.

When Annie and Grinnell first nested at the Campanile in 2017, we weren't sure exactly what they were using as a nest site. When we went up to the top of the tower to check it out, we found three eggs nestled in a broken sand bag. We weren't sure where that sandbag came from - we assumed it was probably to prevent water from coming in to the Campanile interior. We're not sure if Annie and Grinnell would have selected the tower as a nest site without that sandbag there to provide a place for eggs.

We recently received a message from John Vallerga who told us the origin of that sandbag and thus, Annie and Grinnell's first nest. In 2013, an art installation, the Solar Beacon, was placed on top of the Campanile. The sandbags were used to keep the structure stable in high winds. The Solar Beacon was a set of mirrors that reflected the sun from the top of the Campanile to different parts of the Bay. solarbeacon.org

When the team removed the beacons in 2016, one of the sandbags was broken, so it was left on top of the Campanile with the thought that the sand would eventually disperse. Turns out, it was the perfect way to attract Annie and Grinnell's attention! By late 2016, the pair was setting up a territory centered on the Campanile and early next year they welcomed their first clutch.

If adults are firm, they will usually disperse. Fingers crossed

Indeed it is just as Skygirlblue thought--there are 5 eggs here. Taken 4/2/20 with the "archive mode". :7val:

The cam for Berkeley are all offline. The reason given is "no long-term contract." :gaaaaah:

I fixed it. Those of you who have saved the links to these cams will want to update them.
