UC Davis

I sent the Earthcam site the information that what they have pictured at the UC Davis webcam is not the webcam. I asked them to hurry and get the cam working because an egg can be laid any day.

I just sent a message last night that what Earthcam showed as the UC Davis cam was another cam! They work fast! :10sum:

I wasn't sure was an egg. It was cloudy later that day too, and then the following morning, she was in the doorway. If you agree that it's an egg, I'll change the Breaking News to 3/15. Never had so much trouble seeing what was in the nestbox as I have the last couple days. :girlsad3: It is obviously an egg with the capture you got.

I was thinking about that. The nestbox was replaced over the Winter, and I don't know whether it has the cut-outs on the side of it that the old nestbox had. It's awfully dark to see anything. And then again, the summer sun made the chicks so uncomfortable so I'm sure that's why the nestbox was redesigned (if it was redesigned). So far I haven't seen mom go in thru the side as she would often do--just thru the doorway. :girlsad3:
