Well, there's a new banded male trying to court the female, hopefully he catches up before the eggs hatch

I hope the new female doesn’t return so Young Mama won’t be challenged. Very stressful day. Young Mama was chased then she returned with a pigeon that she kept in her pantry. New bird ate the pigeon

This banded visitor looks male...but without it coming in, who knows.

It was just on the perch.

Well, the banded bird is male. Mom has currently left him in charge of the eggs, but he doesn't know what to do. At least he hasn't left.

He was also in there twice early in the morning, once at 5:25 then 5:42. She left the once but only gone for a minute.

Few pics of his recent visit. He looked like he was talking the entire time. I haven't gone back into the DVR to see if there was any interaction in the box before Mom left.

These are out of order.

Mom must have been within eye sight because when he left, she came right in.

So I found out what happened to the egg. Maybe it was the first one. Oh yeah, the juvie was watching her eat it. I don't think it was banded so not a previous juvie from here.

I think you may be right. I checked the DVR...somebody was there during the night, but not incubating...and they haven't been incubated all morning..The male has been there. At one point he was perched on the side of the box. He looked like he was really calling...at least I think it was the male..
