He's wiping down because he's going to be installing some friction tape on that ledge. The kids get up there and a wind blows and they get blown off prematurely.

ok, now he's doing that friction tape thing. That looks easy enough to install. They should use this everywhere there is a slippery metal surface where they chicks can fall off.

I wasn't sure what it was yesterday, but now that I've seen it, I think it's the same stuff they put on stairs, to prevent slipping.

Well it's done. Wonder what they are. I thought 4 boys although 1 is pretty big, maybe two. I know dang well 1 is a boy, so in other words, I have no idea.

This is probably an easy building for him. He's the one who gets up under the bridges, climbs the trees, cliffs, etc..

His wife watches along with us. She probably always holds her breath while he's going up & down.

He also bands in Alameda, at Hiko's nest (Hiko was a 2007 hatch to Clara & Jose). That's on a bridge with very difficult access. I think I read an account that he has to swing around to get on the ledge...
