Blair has finally gone for a break...this new male, "mister" by chatters, is having nothing to do with the egg. I'm thinking this egg may be a goner unless he can kick it into high gear very soon. Hopefully, the pair can move forward, establish some kind of bond, and maybe have 1 or 2 more eggs after this. I'm guessing this egg could be Taylor's, who is MIA at this point... :girlsad3:

sll blsair needs is food. adn she can leave the egg for at least an hour.

I do nto know how close they are to peregrines, but a few years back. Radisson had to hunt for herself and incubate her eggs. That is until Chases hormones kicked in. We were not sure eggs would hatch but 3 of the 4 did. Radissojn would be gone for over an hour .
so hopefully this happens here.

now I will go and ch3ekc the site and this may be for not

Baby steps...I know the egg can be left...but, not in those temps...the day started out below 0...and when I took that pic, I believe it was 5 F....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :coldwinter:

I watched for a while this morning..(saw you chatting...) So glad to hear that Mister Brought in food...hopefully, things will turn around...if not for this egg, then maybe the next one.. :girlyes:

yes, I chat a bit here as they are so positive. And I was trying to give them some encouragement also, as I have seen this very thing at our Edmonton falcon nest. But I do not know how similar habits are.

If egg does not hatch, it is only because it has not been viable from beginning. He is starting to get it. Just saw him fly off so he has been up in tree and cannot see him
